Im in iowa city and after my tiral runs with lavender plants, what comes back reliably for me are any english lavender. Munstead, Hidcote, Rosea(pink cultivar). I wanted something like grosso, but with a 30 percent survival rate for me. So phenomenal is like 60 percent survival rate.

I have planted Phenomenal Lavender. Any difference in oil or smell compared to Munsted? I missed my lavender harvest, due to having to bury my Father. I had wanted to make lavender wands.
