Peppermint bark candy is a holiday favorite and is an easy no bake recipe for a holiday dessert! Using only 4 ingredients, this peppermint bark dessert comes together quickly and is perfect for gifts for friends, family, or to have around for the holidays. Use milk or dark chocolate for the base of this peppermint bark and try to find a white chocolate that contains cocoa butter, since palm oil can cause the layers to separate when the chocolate hardens. Be mindful when spreading the dark and white chocolate out on the tray to have them be thin layers to ensure you can easily cut them and be able to eat it easily. I found it presented better to use a knife to break apart this peppermint bark instead of just breaking with your hands.
Ingredients:
14 oz dark chocolate chips or candy wafers
16 oz white chocolate chips (contains cocoa butter)
1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
9 regular sized candy canes (mini candy cakes will work too:)
