I'll never forget when I saw this commercial on tv as a kid during the late 90's. My favorite part was always when he said "My brains are spilling out" and he drinks the soda. I even remember getting a Pepsi can that had Jar Jar on it.

I was 9 years old, and collected every single character Pepsi can, really believed I might get the “golden ticket” Yoda one 😂 The best part is I wasn’t even a Star Wars fan OR a fan of Pepsi sodas. I just saw the movie for a friend’s birthday party & thought those soda cans were cool

I don't see how any executive thought that this was a good commercial: it's obnoxious (and I am referring to Marphalump, the alien STAR WARS fanboy made for this commercial) It spoils the basic plot of the movie The alien fanboy is on the border of Jar Jar territory And not to mention all it would tell parents is that they should avoid having their kids drink soda or else they will become obnoxiously hyper just like this alien.
