It is very difficult to do a cover of a qawaali this famous , and succeed. There must not be a single soul in Pakistan who hasn’t heard this before. Everybody relates to it. But I felt that these guys made it their own. I didn’t find myself comparing it to any original or any cover that i have heard before, and that i think is their biggest success. Such originality in music... And to top it off , qamar’s voice !!! Way to go guys! I see winners ! #XarBdast

Love Love Xarb! Love you Qamar Parvi! What an amazing rendition of this classic. Off-beat, bluesy qawwali,,wow! Xarb is my favorite band in the whole world at the moment..Xarb has this rare ability to take you into a trance and btw i understand what bilal maqsood is saying about qamar coming across a bit detached, but, i think that is the dynamic that works with this band, ye inka style hai bhai,,style bhi koi cheez hoti hai....totally agree wtih meesha,,,,effortless!
