It's not 'Russian-Gypsy' music. It is just Russian. The background to the music is as follows: Ivan Vasiliev was a Russian choir director of a famous 19th-century Gypsy ensemble in Russia. After hearing the ensemble play, a Russian poet called Apollon Grigoriev was inspired to write a poem, which he named "Two Guitars" ("Две гитары").
