Has anyone had their update freeze? It seems to be taking a really long time to update and the Copying data from browser to DFU device has stayed at about 15% done for around 15 minutes. Will it mess up the machine to disconnect it and try again? If anyone runs into this just disconnect it and try again it worked the second time.

@@ModbapModular How do you feel about parasite firmware? The platform you've got there is limitless.

@@dataphreak you mean like open source alternate firmware? havent given it much thought so far
@dataphreak3 жыл бұрын
@@ModbapModular The Mutable Instruments have tons of alternate firmwares. That's part of what makes them so ubiquitous. Your platform's layout could be used for tons of different applications. Take a look at the 4ms SMR and the 4ms SWN. They're basically the same thing, but wildly different. Here's an idea. What if the Per4mer were a sample player, and the effects played under tuned samples? You could have a bank of samples that you scrolled through, and activate with a button. (Think about VoltageCtrl's workflow) It could be a pad machine. It could have an array of other effects all made by the community. Then there are alternative hardware configurations. Throw an SD card and an OLED screen on it. Your design could open up a whole slew of modules. That would give people a reason to buy more than one, and it would give you insight into what kinds of stuff your target market are looking for as well. Just a thought.
