I used to run into him alot back in early mid 2000's at the different LA area hip hop shows. Percee is genuine straight up hip hop and that's not because some marketing team or radio station told everyone he is, it's because the man would be right there in the crowd selling his mix tapes and promoting the label. He also didn't need liquid courage or special mics and acoustics or a fat check waving in his face just to hear him flow----He was there outside amongst the circles of cats spitting rhymes waiting his turn posted up and backpacking it. True artist, hard-working, super humble mad respect for Percee P.
