How close did your experimental value come to the theoretical value? It is a simple calculation if you are careful with your order of operations. Mr A explains the equation, including why the absolute value of the numerator simply means that you don't report any negative values.

Well understood but then my experimental value is way larger than my accepted value and am always getting a negative number what do I do? In the other hand another is giving me a very high number as the result

Hello, as for the negative value ignore it. Make it positive 🙂
