Back to your original question of how come there is a Christian majority state in a country(India) while not having any neighbouring country where Christianity is the religion of the majority. This is normal, i will give you another example. Look at the Philippines, its a Christian majority country but none of its neighbours are Christian majority, and another example is Malaysia and Indonesia, which are a Muslim majority countries, but none of its neighbours are Muslim Majority, the closest one is Bangladesh which is a thousand of miles away. This is all due to missionary works and traders.
