Great film & music mate. I use drilled, .22 Air gun pellets to load some of my floats on the stem. 🎣 The float rubber seats nice around the waste, but still slides up & down.

I used to stay at the river keepers house in my late teens, that was 45 years ago. So much water and a magical place. Spent lots of days just walking and stalking the chub and roach. Thanks for the video, brought back some great memories. 👍

A really beautiful video. The perch is such a majestic fish. Where I used to live (Bedford) the perch were getting rather big and a lot of them. 👍👍👍

Thank you Andy, the Perch are fantastic fish and I just love fishing for them. I have heard of some very big Perch in the Bedford area so great to hear they are big and in numbers. 🐟🎣 👍

@fishingtailfilms Well they were there 12 years ago. I live in Weymouth now, doing my first love, sea fishing. My best is 3lb, caught along Bedford embankment. I also caught a 2lb roach on the same day. They are growing big on a diet of small fish and crayfish.

@@andycollings4302 3lbs Perch and a 2lbs Roach is a fine day's fishing Andy, excellent and agree with the crayfish, the Perch get fat munching on them as I found out at Hordle Lakes recently 👍

I must say I'm loving this new perch content I've stumbled across...they don't have to be big to be beautiful...thats what I've told the Mrs for the past 20 year anyway 🙂

Hi Russ you using the same rod for ledger and float

On that occasion I was Terry, as I tried to travel as light as possible due to lots of walking. It did the job ok 👍 my Darent Valleys 1.25 test curve. Normally I would use a greys specialist same test curve 👍

@@fishingtailfilms I did wonder as I like a white or orange tip on my ledger rods even when touch ledgering I find it useful
