For me it was a comforting warm feeling that took away my pain and allowed me to function better. I will never feel that kind of euphoria ever again mainly because the suboxone blocks it and it’s probably for the best since I became out of control with the constant need for higher doses of the Percocet.

I feel you pain my friend. I got that feeling again when I went and did a dozen percs while on Suboxone. So it does Block 100%. But enough of anything amd a day without the sub may surprise you. Don't recommend tho ❤

Important to also remember that some people just became dependent on the medication and then got cut off!!! I know people who took there medication exactly as prescribed and never did anything else but what a broken healthcare system told them to do or should I of said sick care instead of healthcare. They kept said people on the medication for years and then just dropped them one day after years of prescribing narcotics. No weaning off system for patient’s or referrals. Just the boot. What do you think most of these dependent patients did after that?

Forget Prozac, Lexapro, etc. For me there was no better anxiolytic/ anti depressant on the planet. For back pain in the early 2000’s, I was prescribed 120 40mg of OxyContin, 90 10mg of Percocet for “breakthrough pain”, and 90 1mg of Xanax. I don’t care who you are, this would get anyone into some kind of trouble. I don’t think you would get this if you were in hospice now. I don’t blame anyone in particular. It was fairly common back then.

I'm 29. Did my first perc at 16. I was on methadone from 18 1\2 to 21. Clean until 25 (kidney stones and wisdom teeth issues) got me addicted again. Got on Suboxone for the pass year and doing pretty well knock on wood👍 I just say this is the first time a doctor actually knows what he's talking about here on KZbin.respect to you my friend. I just hope amd pray when I start taping off it goes well. How long on Suboxone do you recommend before lowering mg.? Also Im on 12 mg.
