using Utility with 0% stereo on instead of using left or right channels can also give u a mono signal, and it will be different than choosing the left or right side.

+Sam R If you throw a spectrum on top of it, then hover your mouse over whatever frequency you like in the spectrum it will tell you the key :)

I never see tutorial vids for techno in logic. Why is this? Also, what plugin is he using here?

logic just isnt that big with the bedroom producer crowd at wich these tutorials are aimed. you get FL and ableton live tutorials, because thats what most people use. but if you know what you are doing, it is pretty easy to do in any DAW really. the overall process is the same.

There are many ways. One way is route it to the mixer, and drop the Stereo Separation to 100% merged, or use a Fruity Stereo Shaper.

anything that has stereo in it you can make it mono. or just use mono plugins than you'll instantly get mono sound :p

the loop at 3.10 that gets taken out and used..... is that built into software to use or sampled from whatever? i use hardware but when sample from another tune to make my bassline it is nothing like original persons song i have sampled as a tiny snippett thats no longer resembles any of their work..... is this classed as ripping off and should be decleared? nb: im not declaring it
