I have one requirement about Thalia’s casting. She and Jason’s future actor must have the same eyes. It is the one visual queue that they are related. It is the PJO version of “your mother’s eyes.” It is how Thalia recognizes him. I don’t care about what that color is, just matching eyes.

I loved season 1 but from this information, I really think the people working on the show, specifically Rick Riordan, have seen some of people’s criticisms of the first season and I think this season is gonna be better! Fingers crossed for this new executive producer because episode eight WAS really good!

I think they would skip that as the cast for both characters would not be seen again until HOO. With each season taking almost 2 years to produce, they will be much older to take roles. At best, the show would just do what they did with Nico and Bianca by mentioning their name only.

@@irotr53no i disagree. while it did have some changes, it was much better than the movie and much more faithful to the books. Also, the movie the lightning thief on its own without the book is a horrible movie. it’s too fast paced and it makes no sense. with the book, it’s even worse. but the show, if it existed without the books it’s still on its own a really good show and super entertaining especially to people who HAVENT read the books. Sure, if you did, you’ll notice some changes, but they’re absolutely not as bad as the movie

In my opinion they should just make an animated series. That way they could easily make the characters look more accurate, they could make the powers and monsters look sick. Overall I just think that we need a series that should be almost 1 to 1 to the books and make it look accurate. Alongside hopefully no controversies, no dumb race swapping, no changing the plot or character personalities. Just a 1to1

Well I don't consider season 1 as a faithful adaptation of the book. Faithful means one to one page to screen and it wasn't. The season wasn't bad but it was a mediocre 5/10 in my book. I hope they get better with season 2, waiting for the Hydra, Polypemus and my man Tyson. I am glad we will get more Clarisse, despite not being buff Dior is successful in passing the character to me in maybe 2 minutes of screen time. I hope they will do justice to my favorite character from the book in the future- Annabeth Chase. The actors are great the direction they are getting is👎

Well I will admit that it isn’t completely accurate but no adaptation really is. It’s hard to take a book like Percy Jackson and make it a show or movie (the movie said a lot about that). Like Grover seems a near impossible person to make into a living thing with emotions so I didn’t hate on him much for the book or the movie. However, there is definitely a wrong way to make Annabeth (as seen in the movies) I think they did really well on Annabeth for this season. She had a couple moments where I was a little iffy but overall I loved her character

@@ZoeNightshade_HunterOfArtemis I understand of course that making perfectly accurate it's hard. However the books are so good, which is why I was hoping for an equal show in quality/better. In terms of the trio all together, they are not together enough on screen (keep splitting up) and the dynamic they have in interviews is far better than their dynamic on set. When it comes to Annabeth, she doesn't say how much she loves architecture (or maybe I missed that). She is not sassy/bossy enough. She is also able to fight Luke which she never does in the books. The movies were a crime against any character.

The architecture thing wasn’t huge in the first book but it was there and wasn’t rlly talked about in the show. I thought she was pretty sassy but that could just be me 🤷‍♀️. And I think she could probably fight Luke since she’s the daughter of the goddess of strategical war 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Yes those movies were such a crime 😂😂 those were federal offenses
