Percy Jackson Series Season 2 News: Thalia & Tyson Casting Update + New Original Character

If I had to guess as to why Thalia would be reoccurring it would be that this season will incorporate some Luke flashbacks possibly Luke’s diary, but that’s largely my wishful thinking.

Adding an original character into the story is super interesting! For season 2 I'm hoping we get flashbacks of Luke, Annabeth, and Thalia as kids when they were running away. I also hope we get Circe to tell her story, just like Medusa did in the first season. It would be so cool if we get to see Luke hesitate poisoning Thalia tree, or see the scene where Percy finds Tyson or we get to see Annabeth leave to warn Percy about the monsters. I would love an extended scene of Percy at his new school especially in Gym class. When Percy finds out that Tyson is his half brother, hopefully Percy isn't mean towards Tyson as he was in the books. It would be interesting to see Percy confused and a little angry towards his father Poseidon. I understand Percy was surprised, I think anyone would be surprised to find out about a sibling or family member, but it's not Tyson's fault either. An original idea I thought is it would be cool to see when Percy, Tyson and Annabeth are on Luke's ship, Luke tells Annabeth he wants to talk to her in private, trying to convince her to join his side, and Annabeth agrees, and secretly she is trying to bring Luke back to the good side, and accidently she spills out what Athena did in season 1 to demonstrate to Luke that no one is perfect, not even people with powers. Then we get too see Luke get more angry towards the gods/goddesses as Annabeth goes back and try to escape with Percy and Tyson. Another original idea would be in a flashback of Luke, Annabeth and Thalia running away, the writers add a Easter egg where Thalia gives hint of her brother Jason and Luke and Annabeth doesn't know who she is talking about. I am interested to see how the creators will make the friendship grow between Annabeth and Tyson. The sibling relationship between Percy and Tyson. I'm super excited for the second season!!

I mean, if we consider the possibility that it isn´t only the one they mention we get as new character... there is AN OBVIOUS OPTION character we would get as the "new oc", which is TECHNICALLY an oc because it wasn´t written by Rick Riordan but is very interesting: Alabaster Torrington. He has all the requirements you mentioned
