Walker was able to convey so many different emotions with his eyes when that betrayal took place he was so shocked I knew that it would be a little cool betrayed him but still it freaking hurts man he considered him his friend

omg I just realized Annabeth was suspicious of him from the Iris message. If someone said to you "I know who the lightning thief is", your first reaction is "Who is it?". But Luke asked "How'd you know?". That's what gave him away, that's why Annabeth secretly followed them to the woods using her cap.

The moment between Luke, Percy, and Annebeth made me start to cry when I first saw it. The raw emotions of Luke not wanting to hurt Percy, and the way Luke froze and said Annabeths name when he saw her appear, the connection that he lost someone he saw as family when he made the choice to turn to the dark side. The show definitely brought out the emotions I needed to feel for this entire thing. 🩵✨

I prefer every change the show has made to the source material. Literally, from Medusa, to Luke... every single change has only elevated or enhanced the original story for me and I could not be any happier with the final product we've been given. This video is such a perfect tribute to one of my favorite new shows! I love it so much!!!!

@Logan-lf8pd not at all! I thought it was a major upgrade. I'm not sure how I feel about the teleporting sword thing, I imagine it's going to be an important change later on but literally everything else about the final scene I thought was an improvement. Luke is more 3 dimensional and conflicted which makes for a better character and a better confrontation, Annabeths presence is a plus also. I really can't see how or why anyone would consider the final confrontation less compelling than the book version

I like both of them, they're both different in the book Luke was willing to let Percy die because he knew this little kid from New York was about to be a huge problem, kinda shows how ruthless Luke is and how far he is willing to go to achieve his goals in the show we get more of his emotional side, he's doing terrible things yes but he's still a kid, he's only 19 and he doesn't want to hurt people if he doesn't have to makes me wonder what they're going to do in later seasons, I'm really excited!

I still don't understand why he listens to Kronos. Sure, he ruled over a golden age, but he ate babies. His own babies nonetheless. Someone who does that is meant to fail or go too far in his rule. Good leadership starts by being good to yourself and those of your inner circle. It's because of Kronos his parents and grandparents are the way they are.

Luke's fatal flaw is his wrath, he let it took control of him. And when you look at the gods, they aren't good people either. Zeus ate Athena's mother when she was pregnant because of a prophecy saying if her child was a boy, he would take over Zeus, this is the exact same thing that Kronos did. Some of them married but still cheated (like millions of times), made babies and then abandoned them, only came asking for help when they need the demigods to run errands for them. Both the gods and Kronos are not good people, but he had personal issues with his dad, and Kronos did manipulate him into taking actions.

@@JabamiLain I feel like 80% of his motive is revenge. In the book, during this scene, he kept talking about his anger towards his dad, telling Percy Poseidon never did anything for him, getting mad because the gods let Thalia die. His focus was more on making the gods suffer.

@@JabamiLain he isnt, but luke wants to fight and kill the gods cuz he thought his father never cared for him and left him with his ' crazy' mother and fend for himself with monsters. i mean it is true that the gods are bad. zeus is an annoying jerk and killed nicos mother, haded cursed the orcale and them always trying to kill the big three kids. kronos is also bad too, but luke sees the gods are worst
