Likely my favourite recording of all time. Frank Wess simply nails it on flute and tenor . . . the emotions in his solos are absolutely brilliant.

Are you sure it isn't Frank Foster on tenor saxophone? I was reading that this was one of the early flute solos in jazz.

@@johnnystaccata I missed your reply from 2 years ago. For whatever reason, I always thought it was Frank Wess but knows for sure...well, at least me. Still love this version!
