In my humble opinion, the best spirit to pair with your cigar is whatever taste good to you. Personally I like rum, cognac, or port wine to pair with my cigar.

Absolutely! I love a good Cab Sauv/Franc or Vidal/Riesling to pair. Almost too nice of a treat. I outta try some rum or cognac as I hear so many love to pair their smoke with them.

I enjoyed this round-table discussion. Interestingly, I never explored whiskey until somewhat recently, after several years of being a daily cigar smoker. I think the cigars trained my palate in such a way that I can appreciate nuances of fine liquor that I would otherwise have missed. It's an occasional treat for me. I mostly smoke cigars without any pairings, or sometimes with ale. Thanks, Nick!

Enjoying this video with the only Perdomo I have at the moment. Perdomo 10th anniversary champagne with Maker's 46. I also throughly enjoy Maduro sungrown and habano broadleaf wrapper cigars. When it comes to scotch I agree with Johnny Walker Black I became interdused to two years ago from one of my patients it's a great affordable peated scotch with a slight sweetness well balanced scotch. I always enjoy my whiskey neat

I've absolutely fallen in love with your 20th Anniversary Connecticut and it pairs beautifully with Ardbeg 10, Wyoming Whiskey, Woodford Double Oak, Basil Hayden, and well just about everything I have drank with it. Truly exceptional cigar!!

That was an awesome video (my favorite of yours so far, and I've watched a bunch) and helps cement my adoration for the Perdomo Habanos. It's awesome when your love some for something is backed up by awesome folk. I find that while I often drink 100 proof or higher bourbons, I have to go with a lower proof or ice it down generously when smoking a stogie, Otherwise it roasts my tongue.

What an excellent video. I enjoy bourbon every now and again, but I've never really paired it with any cigars. This was extremely helpful to me being a somewhat novice to all this stuff, especially with the whiskys chosen to be accessible and affordable. I believe this weekend I will pick up a bottle and a stick and have at it.

My two personal best pairings I've experienced. Camacho Red with Laphroaig 10 Years - The sweet Camacho was balanced with the smokey whisky. It made the Laphroaig milder and also brought out nice tones from the whisky that I haven't notice before. A more floral flavor. My Father The Judge Toro with chocolate milk - My Father had coffee, chocolate, cinnamon and creamy texture to it. One of my absolute favorite cigars, hands down. That went really well with the sweet chocolate milk. The milk was ice cold.

As I watch this video I’m enjoying a Perdomo 10th Anniversary an St Julian Centennial Series Straight Bourbon Cask Strength. Thing is I have no sense of smell. What I look for is the body, the burn, smoothness. What is most important is I can sit back and let the pressures of the day melt away. New to cigars and like my whiskies enjoy a variety. Cheer

Love maduros but depending on the scotch I preferred highlands and islas I feel they can wash out a maduro I'll grab a sungrown or corojo or san an dreams to keep some spice and oomph to go with a stronger scotch

I stopped drinking because it contributed to the fat cells on my body. FYI, my profile pic is around 15 years old. I'm down to only eating beef and cashews, once a day. And I drink two cups of coffee in the morning and water the rest of the day. Sometimes, I'll have more coffee. I'm down over 100 pounds and am about 30 pounds away from my profile pic.
