Cellophane also slows down humidification, if you're trying to rehumidify and rest your cigars take it off.

My guess would be E, to follow the same direction of the wrapper, that's because I know your torpedos are wrapped with the wrapper diagonally. Let's see if I am right

Here's a lesson or two you can learn from me. I'm going to be very specific so slowly puff on a nice Perdomo while reading! At the time, I'd been smoking cigars occasionally maybe once every month or so. My buddy in Indianapolis ( whaddup Craig?!) is a cigar nut and started talking about how awesome they are (as one does). And we decided to visit Rocky Patel's "BURN" in Indy. We showed up after eating supper at an irish pub downtown. We were looking dapper and lucked out on a close parkng spot. As we walked closer, I became a little nervous because we could see all the fancy people through the front doors. We entered in total awe at the venue. Thick, sweet smelling smoke lingered everywhere and smelled heavenly. Waitresses in all-black dresses were carrying drinks and menus throughout this amazing building... Tall ceilings with hanging art and a dark, espionage-type of lighting thats... well it was really cool in my opinion. Craig and I went through the massive (in my experience) humidor. I picked out a rocky patel cameroon. The wrapper was oily looking with LOTS of little bumps all over it. Mind you, I had smoked this one before from a pack I purchased online about two weeks prior and really enjoyed it. So when I saw it again in this massive walk-in humidor, it just made sense in the moment for me to pick something I knew, in this new environment. My friend picked his cigar, and off we went sitting in chairs that made you think Morpheous was going to appear in front of you and ask you for a red or blue pill. You know the dark wood, with high backs that make you feel like royalty? Yep those. Then a nice young lady dressed in all black took our drink orders. I ordered a double of single malt scotch - I believe it was Oban 14 year. We were killin it. We talked about life, our families, and everything in between as we sipped our drinks and clamored on and on about our smooth cigars. Smoke rolled effortlessly skyward from our static fingers. It was classy and awesome. A half-hour in, I felt a little strange suddenly. My eyes were the first to let me know. They became sore and dry immediately. I noticed this happening but then I assumed it was just slight dehydration or maybe the smoke in the room, so I kept on going. I wasn't smoking fast by any stretch of the imaginiation. Maybe one puff every 45-60 seconds. I also drank two full glasses of water in our hour or two there. I felt a little dizzy but didnt want to look like a wuss in front of all these COOL people lol. And you know what? I smoked that cigar down to the very last 1/2 inch. Now the time came for us to leave and we both stood up, and it hit me. I felt like I had just exited an elevator. I tried ti shake it off mentally again, but it was more physical now. I adjusted my blazer jacket and we headed toward the doom...50 feet to the door. 50 feet. Time slowed down. My heart raced. Faster. I'm not kidding you, that short walk to the door was bewildering. The moment we hit the fresh air outside, (it was cold, winter) my stomach did some acrobatics and the ground was moving like Jello. Then a headache from hell kicked in. I had to sit down on the sidewalk. It was then I broke the sad news to my buddy after he was asking what the heck was going on with me 😂... thank God he was driving. I told him I wasnt feeling well and to DRIVE back to his house where I was staying for the weekend ASAP! He reassured me that hes been through this before recently and that its going to be terrible. The weight of the world was upon me, so it seemed. You know I had to lay the seat all the way back and groaned in discomfort, worh eyes closed for the rest of the 10 min drive. And what a long drive it was. Straight to the bathroom with my pounding headache and vomit on the tip of my stomach - I barged through the bathroom with no regard for anything or anyone, projectile vomiting so hard my throat was bleeding for 5 minutes. It felt like I had slammed 7 back-to-back shots of vodka on an empty stomach (ask me how I know) and then got punched in the face by Conor McGregor. No more fun. My buddy felt bad, but this was my doing... not much he could do. I regained my composure somewhat, got some water and laid down - though I was still "riding the nicotine waves". Brutal. I was sick for about 8 hours straight. I left the next day feeling like a potato. We both learned a few things and hopefully this helps you too: This is called "Dry Drunk". And You don't want it. Dry drunk is a high school bully with a baseball bat. You should consider this: Higher end, big fancy cigar venues get the best and well-maintained cigars. You see, when a cigar gets too hot, and dry, some of that nicotine, tannins (oils) and flavor evaporates, never to be recovered. Yes, some can be saved, but not all. When I smoked the "same" cigar on two different occassions, I got different results. The one at BURN was smoked by me at it's full potential strength, because it was so well taken care of. So it packed more of a punch than the bargain pack I bought online that was probably in a hot dry room for six months. Alcohol UNDENIABLY accelerates the affects of nicotine. Sip slowly, if at all. If you like steak, eat stake before you enjoy a cigar. It really does help. No one, literally no one is going to judge you for saying enough is enough. Im sure youve been at a bar where some drunk yahoo is falling over, laighing, spilling drinks and asking the bartender for another one? Its no where near as dramatic being "dry drunk", but im sure you get my point. If you've had enough, why hurt yourself? Put it down and sip on some whiskey or water fir 20 min. Pick the RIGHT cigar. If you're not a regular cigar smoker, when you see the fine print that says 12 months barrel aged.... stay away! Those are STRONG. Talk to a tobaccanist or someone you know at a lounge. Cigar smokers are the coolest people on earth. Remember when I said there wrre little BUMPS all over my cigar? I don't know if its always true, but in my experience that means it is STRONG. Treat it as such. If your eyes start buggin out and feeling sensitive, that's your body telling you to take a break. Have fun. And take to heart this video and the comment people. Cheers, and happy cigar enjoyment!

A small glass of cola to hand can be nice with a cigar. I find it cleanses the palate if things start to taste a bit muddled, and its definitely knocked back a slight stomach flip in the past. Also a pre cigar banana is a good little boost, and works really well with a lot of cigars! Jazz also helps 😅 Prep well and the enjoyment of a cigar is a very beautiful thing.

I'm smoking a Churchill right now. It's just excellent ! I met you years ago at a cigar tasting event at J&Js in Cooper City. I told you I liked Lot 23s. You said if I liked those I'd love the Habano's. You were right. I bought my first box of cigars that day. I've tried all of the differnt Perdomo cigars and love them all. I'll never forget your big black Mercedes sitting out in front of the shop with your licence plate "Cigar One ". I'm a drummer too for over fifty years. Thank you sir ! 😎🙏
