Had the pleasure to meet Ms Sauders . I had a family living in my air conditioning vent in Brooklyn NY. Those eyasses were LOUD calling for there next meal. The DEC headed by Ms Saunders removed the chicks and released them upstate NY .She actually took pictures and emailed the chicks( now huge and healthy) release. Pretty Frigging Cool.

More than twenty years ago, I looked out onto my fire escape and saw a really mean-looking bird staring back at me with the claw of another bird in its beak. I think it was one of New York City's falcons. Good thing my window was closed ...

I have taken pictures of a banded falcon in Hartford, CT. It looks similar to some of the bands you use. It is black over green, The green has BC on it. The black, I see a 4 above the C, not certain what is before the 4, maybe a 1. Curious if this could be one of yours. 7/15/21

You know I'm an animal lover too. But the people who are putting those bands on the ankles of these birds are tracking them I mean I went to a bird counting account burst this is important if we start losing our Birds then there's got to be something is going on with an environment. Peregrine falcon declining indicated there was a big problem and I'm glad that things to the factory program brought them all back and same as the bald eagle and we don't want to lose animals because they are they play a huge role in our environment and even though I know people don't want us interfere but sometimes making sure these guys stay alive. The people are taking care of these animals are the ones who are right on the middle they're not being so enthusiastic like the people who says putting bands on are not good we should band that not realizing those bands help track these animals and make sure we're not losing them. And those who are banding them are actually taking good care then they want to make sure these animals survive the scientist in the government in the middle of their won't interfere if they have and if the animal is hurt and they're not part of the day just be senseless guarantee they're going to be interfering to make sure these animals stay alive. Because none of us want to see any of these animals disappear
