Thank you for posting this. I was having a difficult time keeping the holes centered on the strap. I believe this is the solution!

I plan to keep up with them every week we have been working on a back log so we don't run out. I use Weaver leather brand punches. It only costs a little more to go first class.

Your Tuesday Tips are some of the best out of all of the channels I subscribe to. Have any tips on jigs for smoothing, polishing, and finishing belt and strap edges?

Hey Aaron, it depends on the size of tongue on the buckle you will be using. I typically use a Weaver brand #6 on my standard belts and go up for heavier buckles.

I love your quote on your wall: GO CONFIDENTLY IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DREAMS. (sorry for shouting, but many people forget about it. The more who follow - the closer to nirvana we get. Cheers for your video! What do we who don't possess any Pro Tool like an 'Oval Punch', 'Punching Pliars" etc? Would you - as a pro - recommend the 'hot nail' approach, the double sided drill approach or the screw and bolt way (don't think the screwdriver is any good?

Is that a 20oz Barry king maul you use for hole stamping? Do you like it better than that bigger mallet on the table?

Love that apron you're using. Is that just something off amazon or from a specific vendor? The one I use now bunches up and twists all over till my tools get trapped inside the pockets. Very frustrating.

Nick I just have a standard distance from the tip for my holes, the buckle end is punched separately. And a different jig for different belt widths
