I like these. My only worry with a Ronnie was the possibility of the bait on the swivel turning around to the barb side of the hook from the shank, risking the hook-point impaling the boilie instead of the fishes lip. I don’t think it happened often but this just makes sure the boilie stays out of the way shank side rather than blocking the path of the barb.

I’ve always been nervous of screws like that. If the bait comes while playing a fish that’s a potentially harmful sharp item to be flapping about a carps mouth.

The hook goes I once and stays in. This could scrape and stab more holes. There are safer ways to secure a bait just as well.

@@nash8489 but that ain't going to happen is it bait comes off screw drops down ffs always if's and but's bait screws have been used for years, im sure if they was going to do as you say it would of been noticed by now and they would be banned 🤦‍♂

The separation between bait and hook is far superior to the conventional bead and swivel on the hook. This isn’t a gimmick but it is a blatant copy of the d rig kicker

Some honest customer feedback: I wouldn’t buy this version of this product. I don’t use, or need bait screws, so feel like I’m being forced to pay for something I have no interest in owning. I’m afraid I’d buy a similar kicker from elsewhere if I wanted to go down this route with my rigs.
