This level always had that sad theme playing in the background, knowing you were basically determined to delete everything of your existence in a hostile environment. Such a good level.

I hope they eventually bring the remastered version of the game to PC either through Steam, the Microsoft Store, or both. Never played this as a kid but played Goldeneye a lot. Played Perfect Dark in my early 20's on Xbox 360 and still played it when it was compatible on the Xbox One. Such a good game and the multiplayer with bots is very fun

This is awesome. I finally completed the xbla version on perfect and every day this week I’ve watched your run of the same level, then I complete it. Total coincidence in timing. I am however looking forward to seeing you beat War! .... I don’t think I ever completed it on perfect agent as a kid on N64... and getting the timing right on the janky AI respawns must have a trick to it that I can’t wait to see you do.

In all the years I've been playing Perfect Dark, I was never aware that you could disarm the beginning NPC for pistol ammo infinitely. Does this apply to all NPCs when they draw the Falcon 2? If so, that's incredibly useful.

Yeah, there's a chance they'll keep throwing pistols, but usually they just take out 2-3.

How are you aiming so smoothly? I have a lubed near new OEM stick and a lubed stick with new plastic parts, and I can't aim nearly as smoothly. Is this the power of the steelstick, or are you just amazing? It's like you're using a mouse!

Thank you! I use an N64 controller with a Steel Bowl, not a full steelstick module. It makes the experience very smooth but accuracy should be the same as a near new OEM, I also have many years of practice with this controller. :) Make sure to use 1.2 control scheme too if you aren't if you want the best precision.

I never played Perfect Dark on N64 but why do the graphics seem so grainy? Goldeneye was relatively crisp as are your videos of Goldeneye plays.

Depends which videos you are refering to, if they're the custom levels they're always played on PC at 60fps and 1080p or 1440p. If you mean other UltraHDMI GoldenEye videos, then chances are Anti-Aliasing is disabled, showing a crispier image. Perfect Dark has sadly no way to remove the Anti-Aliasing without crashing in A51 Infiltration, so it has to be played with the default AA on, making it blurrier than GoldenEye. Other than that, they both play at the same 220p resolution except if you use hi-res.

@@Guillotines_For_Globalists No this is real hardware. If it's not specified, it's emulator (mentioned in the description usually). If it's real hardware it'll say in the title as Real N64 capture or, in this case, UltraHDMI, which is a modded N64 to output the best quality possible.

Glad you like it! Nothing beats CRT quality unless you have the UltraHDMI upgrade or RGB mod + OSSC. CRT + RGB mod looks amazing as well.
