It all depends on the number of days your cruising and the room because with the price they give u they also add on all kind fees an it's not including parking ($22 a day). So in total u could wind up paying $600 to $1,000 a person. I'm going for 4 days I paid almost $1,300 for 2 people and that's with there so called promotion they got going on so take advantage of any deals they have.

Thanks for a great video. I have a question about towels...I read elsewhere that you have to collect them on the ship and bring them with you onto the island..but you've said otherwise at the end of your piece..so my question is has the towel procedure changed recently? Also if you've booked a Chill Island cabana do you know if towels are supplied by the cabana concierge? Thank you
@TalkingCruise
@TalkingCruise 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle, thanks for watching. Before I got off the ship, I asked the attendant with towels located before the gangway if I needed to take one. He told me no, they can be picked up and exchanged on the island. Since I was filming for 4 hours, I didn't want to carry a towel with me, so I waited. On the island there are lots of spots to pick up towels and return before getting back to the ship. If for some reason you wanted to, you can also pick up on the island and return it onboard the ship when you get back. Cabana's have towel service provided.

@TalkingCruise
@TalkingCruise 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Alice, thanks for watching. The fees for the Thrill Waterpark, Zipline and Balloon can vary greatly by ship and sailing date. Generally, rates are higher for newer ships and during peak travel months of Summer, Spring break, holidays etc.

My questions: how much is the water park pass? How much is alcohol? Is the alcohol included when you have the ship drink pass?
@TalkingCruise
@TalkingCruise 5 жыл бұрын
Hi lighthouse laura, thanks for watching. Pricing for the water park varies by ship and sailing dates, but I definitely recommend purchasing ahead of time using Royal Caribbean''s online Cruise Planner. Drink prices on the island are typically like what you see onboard ships (medium to expensive). A major benefit is that you can use a drink package you purchased on the island as well.

@gailjones1342
@gailjones1342 5 жыл бұрын
@Jamie A Not all cultures go by the English Dictionary. The UK spells 'loch' and we call it 'lake', they call it 'Lock'. Ireland spells it 'lough' and calls it 'lock' also. Much of Europe says 'isles' whereas we say 'island'. Folk are going to say things differently depending on where they are. I've been to much of the Caribbean (other than Barbados) and small islands are called 'key' at all of them, I've never heard it pronounced 'kay'

Hi Shenicus M, thanks for watching. It should be called Coco "Key", but you can call it what you like. @TalkingCruise
@TalkingCruise 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Dylan, thanks for watching. You can pronounce it whichever way you want. If you do further research, the word "CAY" is referring to a small island and is typically pronounced as "Key". I have no doubt that Royal Caribbean intended to have Cay rhyme with their Perfect Day marketing plan, however, from speaking with a few folks at the cruise line they themselves referred to it both ways. Also, other cruise line's private islands which also also have CAY in their name pronounce it 'key". NCL - Great Stirrup Cay, Disney - Castaway Cay, HAL - Half Moon Cay, Princess - Princess Cays and MSC - Ocean Cay.

Talking Cruise my point is I wouldn’t pay to take a cruise that went there to begin with. My Kid’s are much to old for this environment. This is more of a baby water park. For a young family with toddlers & 5 year olds. Teens would laugh at it. It’s a waste in my opinion. This tiny island could have been made into something timeless & memorable., It needed a theme & originality. Nothing about this place screams destination spot. Just..basic! Unoriginal. Water park next door to my house. Best part is the cabanas.

This guy needs to understand that the way he speaks makes him sound extremely fake and annoying. He will lose potential customers. Too bad his ego will prevent him from taking this critique to heart. Pity.

Hi 15anerachoreographer, thanks for watching. As "this guy" I can tell you that your summation of me couldn't be more wrong. I actually do take criticism on my channel and answer all comments good and bad, because I believe in engaging with people as I try to provide the best videos possible. What you take as "fake" is actually me try to bring a sense of fun to my channel, sorry of you feel I am falling short of this. This channel is not about me or ego. I don't get in front of the camera and jabber on about stuff sort of related to cruising, covering sensational news stories, providing click-bait topics or have myself in-frame as I tour a ship. Instead, I show high-quality content (the majority of which is personally filmed by me at my expense), providing a real perspective of cruising in general and what these cruise ships are like.
