Are macarons available at the Grand Californian, or only specific locations within the parks? I’ve got a macaron-lover in my family and when she goes on her first Disneyland trip this winter, she will be on a Macaron Mission. I was toying with the idea of acquiring them from somewhere in Downtown Disney on one of our bookend non-park days. Is that possible?

Did u film this on Saturday? My toddler n I got caught up in the downpour @ 10PM we were on golden zephyr when it started raining superfat raindrops 😮 coincidentally I was wearing the same hoodie as u (so comfy) and am a fellow lavender/grey/periwinkle haired individual. I am going this Saturday and it's supposed to be 72F and maybe even rainy, I am so excited to be able to wear a jacket or sweater *finally*! Last Saturday's weather was fantastic with the rain, my nieces and I had a "campfire" day where we roasted s'mores and hot dogs and we fully embraced and enjoyed the fall weather lol. The sound you added when Chip flashed his tummy made me laugh way to hard, it was just so random and silly haha. We prefer the lockers by the picnic are (even though they are $2 more) or the ones right outside DCA, I agree that it is so much easier to use the outside ones, it is much easier to get in and out without the lockers being in such close proximity to each other. Last time I was at Trader Sam's a few weeks ago, I had just one drink and the long beans but in that short span of time, the Krakatoa was ordered a dozen times and it got so obnoxious that the Skippers were jokingly begging people to stop ordering it, I was fairly wet by the time I got out of there and my ear was ringing from the bell & siren haha. Good fun! I've grown to love the outside terrace since it's basically the antithesis of the inside- it is so peaceful, magical and tranquil with the tiki torches and the live music!

Lisa, this morning a little birdie told me the snow was already put up in the castle last night! I'm so excited for the holidays at the parks but it is funny to see snow this early. Last year they started October 22nd, so just a few days earlier this time

Omg snow on the castle! I didn't even realize the date and I was like wow....that's early. But no, this is pretty much on time considering they started decorating for Halloween earlier and a little more slowly than normal this year. The next time I'll be going is tomorrow or Saturday so it'll be really cool to see! When we were at Trader Sam's this time barely anyone ordered any of the fun drinks! It was kind of odd but then towards the end finally, someone ordered an Uh-Oa!! I also looooove the outside, the music and the tiki torches is really magical like you said and I go there to eat a lot to just enjoy it and feel like I'm on vacation mode 😂 PS, we have to meet up sometime soon!!

Omg yessss I’m so excited for you to go on a solo trip! You’ll have to let me know how it goes!! For tips, I’m a typically a big planner but I would say make a list of your must-do activities and must-have food and roughly plan out a general idea of your day, but totally take advantage of getting to do whatever you feel like and being able to explore! So if you have a ballpark plan, then you can have room for spontaneous in-between activities and enjoy wherever the day takes you. Or go in with no plan and enjoy wherever the day takes you, whatever you truly feel like doing in the moment you can go and do! If you aren’t a frequent visitor or if you feel a tiny bit nervous about going alone, I’d get genie+ (I actually recommend it to anyone, it’s a great time saver!). When I went alone the first few times, the most aware I was of being alone or anxious of people noticing that I was alone was when I was in line for rides. So if you’re nervous at all, genie+ will help alleviate that! Also-take some time to grab a snack or a drink and find a place to sit and people watch! Any of the spots on Main Street are fab, the benches behind Big Thunder, anywhere in Galaxy’s Edge, I could go on and on! Ok sorry for talking your ear off 😂 let me know if you have any questions though!!

Whenever I’m at Trader Sam’s I always try to order the drinks with collector’s mug. I have the Piranha Pool mug among most of the others, but not the Zombie mug. I’ll have to get that on my next visit. Never thought of catching the fireworks from that location. I’ll have to do that on my next visit as well. As usual… another fun, interesting Disneyland day, and different kind of day with the weather transitioning to Halloween weather
