The outside shower by the entry door is spot on. The showers on the utility side of the coach were really inconvenient. Camping on the beach we would rinse our feet off then walk around to the entry door side only to have sandy feet again tracked into the RV. Good improvement.

I like double basin sinks. I don't mind the in floor heat ducts and vents. Some manufacturers HAVE to run vents through cabinets because they use laminated floors. I prefer tongue and groove plywood floors. Always enjoy and learn something from your videos....thanks.

Thanks for speaking up against floor vents. They're amazingly hazardous when walking with a cane.

Immediately, being seasonal rv’ers: love floor, gray loveseats no carpet, large oven, cooktop (I’m not into grilling out too much hassle & hauling. Wood countertops color is a beautiful pop of pretty, enough prep space inside. Again, I’d rather prep food in AC, not out. Would have liked to see inside of refrigerator as I love to cook. Miss nightstands by for phone to be a clock and apnea equipment. 100% agree on dual pane window comment for what they charge for these, corners cut on back splash, shower, mattress, wall definitely should cover windows and nightstands. Also all the blah white cabinetry & table seating is kind of a dealbreaker; what happened to the warm grays,black, even blues from a few years ago inside and out. Outside speakers, are they decently made, most are cheap tin cans that immediately break from normal loudness levels. Good video, agree with the out features otherwise as you did. Except again too much white noise design pop.

I agree with you on the heater floor vents! I don’t like them at all. They usually place them directly in front of a couch so they’re either under your feet while you’re sitting or blowing up your leg. If you want a rug, the vents in the way, especially on front or mid living room floorplans. They also trap dog hair. Also agree with you on the coffee bar backsplash! What was the designer thinking putting that hideous paper there? Overall, nice RV, but perhaps they can use even less paint or decals on the exterior! Very nice exterior storage.

I did see this at a RV show. I did kind of like the extra bedroom /office kinda cool. I have bigger kids so they need the bunk room setup. Plus I like to stay around 35ft total length as you can get more places. Much bigger and gets a little tougher. And I only want a bed that I can use if it doesn’t have to slide out as sometimes I stop overnight and dont want to put slides out. But all depends what ya need. Also bad spot for the dump hose which is no fun for dumping when parked. Always enjoy the videos 👍🏼

I agree with you on all the interior. Not having slam latches on all outside doors is just really being cheap. Those twist locks you end up fighting with them and potentially break keys.

I really like dual sinks also! Nice unit!

I like the unit. I would do something different with the loft. I would have it accessed from the bunk room. I don't think the space is very practical as you can't sit up there. Perhaps for storage or larger headroom for the bunks . I would do away with that side fireplace and install a small refrigerator unit to store medicines in. Some makeups should also be kept cold. So those are my personal thoughts.

1) Another nice job on this video review. I subscribe to both of your channels, I enjoy the way you do your reviews, especially this newer more in depth style. Call me a fan boy 😂 2) I agree on both the kitchen counter backsplash and the “wet bay” remarks. 3) Did this dealership even do a PDI before allowing you to do the video? Seems to me that they would’ve fixed that shade prior to letting customers (especially journalists) look at a unit. While I think that Jayco seems to be an affordable quality brand, this particular unit screams caution to me. 4) I didn’t see a spare tire. Is it under the rear of the unit? Glad to see that there is big storage as I like to carry two spares when I pull a trailer. 5) Question in regards to the tires. I took from the video that the Uniroyal is a better or at least higher quality rated tire than the Goodyear on this unit. Is it a bad thing (or just overkill) if one were to just install the best tire out there period on any type of trailer? 6) Keep up the good work. Record a band session sometime on your other channel. Would be enjoyable to watch. Thank you for this video.

I can forgive Jayco for some of the things you pointed out, here. This isn't the top of the line brand for them and I do think they need to cut costs somewhere and differentiate between the higher end models.

I can't imagine needing sway control on a fifth wheel. This technology should be applied to travel trailers.

I don't like floor vents had to buy screens and glue under them to keep stuff from dropping down into them.

Is this prepped for 3rd AC. 2 units probably isn’t enough in the Texas heat.
@91CavGT58 ай бұрын
We full timed in Texas in a Columbus 379MBC which has twin 15k BTU air conditioners. With Reflectix on all south facing windows, the inside temp would stay around 80 degrees even when outside temps would approach 105 degrees.

Mine is big pine key Florida and the 2 units keep the unit super cool. Have zero issues, a 3rd ac in this unit isn’t needed.
@Mr_Fear_Factory8 ай бұрын
You seem biased with jaycos every video I’ve watched where you’ve done jaycos you have a lot of negativity. At this price point Jayco offer more than grand design: plywood floors, truss roof, 6 point auto leveling, 2 15,000 whisper quite acs, firetv, oven is residential size, anti lock brakes on the trailer, security cameras, a lot more but you get the idea. But in your video you wanna just point silly shit out.
