The exhaust turned out great .. hate to say it but the flowmasters fit that car better .. foxbody engine , exhaust needs to have flowmasters on it for that sound . Its just iconic . Car turned out amazing its been great seeing the 65 on the channel brings me back to my grandfather and his 65 and the memories we all had in it growing up . I know its mainly foxbody on this channel but dont let the 65 disappear on the channel .

Man.. I watched you video not expecting to come to tears in the end. I been going through some hard times. I lost my folks back in 2022. That year changed my life brother. I lost the two most important people in my life in all about 5 months. I really been needing someone to talk to and your video and tribute to your mom really hit home for me. I used to build cars with my dad and my mom would take pictures and join in on the fun. Now I got a son of my own, he’s 15 and shares the same passion for old cars like my dad and I. We’re keeping the tradition alive. Anyways man Thank you, this video really means a lot and keep up the great work.

Man this is the best video so far. I knew the car meant a lot to you, but I never knew just how much. I feel honored to be a tiny part of that car. I hope you, your dad and the rest of your family make some of the best memories of your life with it. You're a great guy, and thank you for doing all that you do for the mustang community, I know it's not easy. And I'm absolutely certain your mom would be beaming.

Can't imagine losing mom. She's the giver of life, best friend, person who is there for you when you need her. I need to get stuff done while she's still here. I'm the worst procrastinator there is. Yeah... My mom had a 65 Mustang when I was a baby. No hot rod or anything, just a regular car. I've seen pics of it. My dad was the one who had 60s hot rods when I was growing up. Sorry about your mom, sure its tough. But she's there beside you as you've worked on this car. She'll make sure you get it done.

Those last four words hold so much power for us all. To know we matter, we've done well, we made a difference in others lives. It doesn't feel like it when we're grinding, but looking back let's us see how far we've come, and motivates us to keep going evermore proud of all we've accomplished. I was under my sons ‘67 mustang the other day bleeding the brakes and i couldnt help but notice that the previous owner somehow modified and fit a fox body exhaust system under there…the x pipe , o2 bungs and shorty headers were a dead give away….needless to say the car sounds killer…….and the 02 bungs ended up working great for the efi conversion i added to the car…….in the 90’s when i was in highschool i too had a ‘65 fastback with a 302 and a 4spd toploader and mach 1 front end/brakes…..that car was a ripper but it was short lived…i started cutting school and getting high and pops wasnt having it, he took that car and parked it up in front of a uppity up high school and had it sold within hours……i kick myself in the ass everytime i see one now, if only i did what my father had asked me too…..sorry dad😢😢😢…..RIP pops!!!

Dirty fun secret. A friend is an engineer that learned exhaust from "Old man" Bassani. Also worked at Holley, told me this-"If you want the best muffler, let's put Different Trend mufflers on your Plymouth. 409 stainless, fully welded top quality...and not half the price of Flowmasters." 2.5", priced at $38 and available on CARID.
