Thanks for your video, seems like a nice road trip. BTW that 7 hours timer you set is actually a delay timer, meaning the charger will wait 7 hours before it starts charging. It is good for people who want to plug the charger in their EV early in the evening but want the charging to actually start say from midnight to take advantage of their cheaper electricity rate.

Ahh thanks for that explanation, which makes perfect sense. That’s why it wouldn’t start at first because I had set the delay! Thanks heaps for watching and commenting!

That's a great setup Stan. The prices at the camps are very reasonable. Stan, would you mind if I used a small snippet from your Nullabor video & a quick still of you, to stitch into one of my videos for a shout-out to your channel?

Ohh that would be awesome! I would love that. Thanks very much! Yes I was amazed how cheap you can travel with an EV. Of course the car was not cheap and you have to be willing to camp in or next to your car, but it’s the perfect system for Twig and me!

@@Stan-at-KangarooIslandTV Excellent Stan. Thank you. 🙂 Twig seems to be in her element. She's a great travel buddy.

Great video. What is your charging setup at home
@Stan-at-KangarooIslandTV5 ай бұрын
@@Aro800 thanks!! It’s a Fronius WattPilot Go detachable and portable charger. Just make sure your connections are good or it can damage the car!

How long is the cable from charger to car, please?
@Stan-at-KangarooIslandTV6 ай бұрын
Hi there! The cable is 5 metres or 16 feet so generally plenty to reach the car. Thanks for watching!
