This is a very good trailer. That said, I would have expected a bit more innovation from Holtkamper which I have followed on KZbin for donkey's years even though I don't understand a word of Dutch. Their other trailer tent campers are absolutely fantastic. Please note that I am comparing them with their standards. Nevertheless, I reiterate that this is a very good trailer nonetheless.

A lot easier/quicker up/down than my Conway Cardinal, but mine has 2 double bedrooms that pull out from each end leaving the centre section clear for separate, dedicated, dining and cooking areas. The 2 metres of internal headroom is another bonus. The only thing missing is underfloor heating, which I may add this or next year courtesy of a diesel heater. With only the 2 of using it (plus 2 small dogs), we don't even really need to use the full length awning to be able to enjoy it. If I *really must,* I can put up a small, 2 metre cubed, drive-away awning at the side of my camper van (only used for its carrying & towing capacity) to use as a toilet/shower tent. "Gale Force winds"? Gale Force 1 (a sparrow farted in the next field)?

The should follow up the Take-off with a camper called the Landing… Silly jokes aside, it’s an interesting design but would it be possible to add a shower to the mix? I guess you could add a privacy tent and what I call a bug sprayer shower system…. But I’d like something a bit more substantial to camp in.

Any plans to sell it in Australia? With my Hyundai Ioniq 6 towing load of 1500 kg I am tossing up between a Jayco Swift mini camper-van (bit of a faff to set it up) or a Tucana Teardrop van with no real set-up required but low roof height. The ideal would be something like the Eco-Tourer Breeze but it is too heavy for my EV.

Hi Andrew 👋 in Canada you are not allowed to tow anything with an EV. I had two Prius’s (sp?) and couldn’t tow a thing. I believe European “standards” are different. Really liked this as an affordable and accessible and modern option. 👍👍🥇

I think you may be mistaken. Audi e-tron and Tesla each have towing capacities mentioned in their maketing material. Where did you find a law that prohibits towing with an EV in Canada? I live here and I couldn’t find any mention of it. Cheers.

@Andrew Ditton : Remember that unfolding camper apartment that you showed, that unfolded with it's own terrace, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom with a washer/dryer & separate shower, kitchen and dining room and both solar power and wind turbine power? Wasn't that from France and only a bit over $5,000? That is still one of the nicest campers I've seen, for an extremely low price. Can you please reply with the company and camper's name and what country it's from? I think I would really like that camper.
