I let the polish completely dry before peeling the stickers off. Otherwise, my polish tends to bleed.

It bleeds because your base coat isn’t cured smoothly. It is supposed to stop bleeding like that by fixing the file scratches you make by buffing out the nail for adhesion. If your polish is still bleeding it is because there isn’t enough base coat to cover the scratches and those scratches act like channels for the polish to seep into.

@@brigard_brick1952 I think it bleeds because the polish isn't completely dry under the nail guides when I try to peel it off. It's why it works best for me when I let the polish dry completely before I peel off the nail guides.

@@moni1952 based on what you’re saying, it’s sounds like a bit of both. The reason it comes off pretty when you let it dry onto the guide is because the polish bleeds into it instead of into your sidewalls. If you buff ur nail before base layer application you might not even need to wait. Oh, and two or three coats is normal, you don’t have to get opaque color with a ton of product from the jump.🫶🏾

I tried the strips and they suck really bad. It’s hard to stick where you want it because it keeps getting stuck on the tool (tweezers, etc..) used to lay it on the nail and doesn’t stay in place. I gave up

Maybe DIY the stencil from a masking tape?

I use a base coat and then it was too slippery and the sticker kept sliding off. How can I prevent this 🥺 I want it to be beautiful like yours and mine runs

I don’t know for sure, but try not using a base coat, putting on the sticker and then using a top coat after peeling it off! If the sticker still doesn’t stick, maybe try a different brand of sticker or buff your nail a bit where you’re placing the sticker so it has something to latch onto? :)

These didn’t work for me and I had to remove every single French

😭 I would give it another try! It took me a few tries to get the hang of it when I first started

I wonder if it would help if you let the nail polish dry before removing the strip?
@ashlaraque4135 Жыл бұрын
If you’re using gel then you can apply a base coat, cure, apply the stencil and it should come out much cleaner

Did she dry the white polish? Otherwise there’s a chance of messing up when peeling off!

You're such an expert. Pls was that a light pink? Could you please put a link to the colors you used besides the white? Thank you

I see flaws. So this really is a bad way to do the French manicure. I tried it 25 yrs ago once. What a mess lol. So I've always stuck with a brush, whether I'm doing a pink and white set or any French manicure. Practice and your smile lines will be perfect. I see little nicks in your French line this way although it's pretty good considering what I did 🙂 I've been doing nails 26 years now and the French is my favorite. Love your nails but practice the brush.
