Yesss!!! We have to do our research! It’s a lot of land that was taken from us. Louisiana has a law where they only allow a person to obtain death, birth certificates on a grand parent and not great grandparents and so on etc. Why are you limiting me to obtaining records on my ancestors? What are you hiding from me, what is it you don’t want me to find out? I should be able to obtain records on my ancestral line up to the lineage I feel I want to stop. #WakeUpNola
