Hot Glue guns are the bomb. I've been constructing models for 50 years or more, and playing with RC aircraft and vehicles since they transitioned from control line airplanes. But never used hot glue guns until a few years ago. N, I have 3 of them and they have changed the way I build.

One thing I would suggest is the absolute must when playing with RC cars or planes in general, is a RC bag to store remotes battery packs you name it in the bag. I got one yesterday for my birthday. I absolutely love it it’s the absolute must when playing outdoors

I would strongly suggest the Bat-Safe for very safe LiPo storage rather than LiPo bags or Ammo cans. Much better engineered solution.

Hello Nate & Abby your looking really good Abby almost time to introduce the new pilot "in the air on land or on water" he'll have the best teachers in the hobby 😀. My question is about battery storage! I live in northern Ontario Canada and there isn't much outdoor flying for the next few months that's why I bought a gaming laptop and RF Evolution to keep on learning. So I have about 20 lipo's a mix of 3s and 4s packs all spectrum smart lipos. They are for the most all in storage mode 20 to 50% charge so do I just leave them be or should I recharge them and let them self drain to storage levels again until I start flying my planes again in the spring time, I'm not sure what to do thank you in advance for your time and help your friend Marty from Canada 🇨🇦 🛩 🛩

But these radios are as advanced as it gets honestly, which pretty well future proofs them. And they will hold their value, even heavily used, compared to most things on the market. They are older and one has an added little transmitter that plugs into it and it does run a plane I have called the Beaver. Keep it friendly here friends, lol! How old is the battery that you are getting the buzz or beep from the alarm? C rating? What are you flying? EDF, or airplane? If you know it, what is the model? 😁

Also, Theo has a point. You can press the button and drop the alarm to go off wherever you want. I suggest like 3.5 volts. 3.6 if you are a newer pilot. 3.4 if you are good and can land quickly, which is where I set mine 😉😁

On the cheap simple ones I don’t think they can be set in my experience. It’s just kind of a default depending on cell size of the battery your using. But there are more expensive options that may allow alarm customization.

@@RC-planes. does it have any micro usb plug in? If it does I’d say it could be adjusted via a computer program. If it doesn’t and it doesn’t have any interface buttons then it doesn’t have a way to change alarm settings and is just a default setting of 3.2v-3.7v maybe. Something around there
