One thing to note that is different to the UMX A-10 (which I hand launch just fine), is the fan intake is on the bottom of the wings and thus if belly landing be sure to cut the power way before you touch down so as to NOT suck in grass, junk, etc. Always a good practice to also check it is clear before your next flight as well!

I really don’t think eflite could go wrong with any of the late war German planes, in my opinion they are very under appreciated and if they put out an he162 or maybe a ta-154 they could make a killin off the warbirds you don’t see very often. This is all just me rambling but hopefully they keep up the awesome planes cause I’m gonna keep buying em up. Finally snagged a 1.2 corsair aswell we will see how that goes!

I’m noticing you are having issues with travels on this plane, elevator and nose wheel. It was the same story with UMX Consendo. Took me ages to get it properly aerobatic. These planes need a modellers touch to adjust cranks and horns etc… Great flight though guys!

I'm convinced HH IS ON A MISSION TO MAKE ME BROKE. IVE WANTED THE FREEWING V2 MODEL FOR A WHILE, I JUST BOUGHT THE CORSAIR. HH needs to make a 1.5m or closest scale size 1.1, 1.2 1.3 whatever with retracts and flaps. My favorite UMX models have been the Habu and Doolittles Raiders B25s

Gelbe 5. Flown by Lt. Alfred Ambs. One detail that seems to be missing on the model is the serial number under the horizontal stab. It should read 110999 in black. This model seems to be painted as the replica at Evergreen Aviation museum McMinville Or. The colors are slightly off compared to the original RLM colors used during the war.

Very cool offering! Only problem I've seen on these Parkzone/UMX planes, that have a steerable nose wheel/ rudder set up; are the longevity of those linear servos? It seems that having a *dual roll in having to push & pull the rudder, & even with the "taildraggers; would seem to put a lot of strain on those micro brushed motors!? I've noticed this type of failure with some of my older ships!? Your thoughts?

Motion RC don't really pay KZbinrs to review their planes. They do in-house stuff. HH definitely have more popular reviewers in their books. Just watch the vid, like what you see then buy. I've learnt to take what they say pos and neg with a pinch of salt.

I wonder if it would fly with a 4s 5-600mah battery I’ve got mine on order here in uk but won’t get till around 8th august I’ve ordered two 600mah batts for mine as I think they recommend 3s 600-850mah in description of it I’ve seen, happy flying guy’s from the uk 🇬🇧

Good afternoon Nate & Abby...I wanted to consult with you,on a question...I have a reciever out of the bigger Eflight B&F Pitts.Can I use this reciever in a P&P jet? Like,can I install it,plug everything in,make sure the surfaces are all going the correct direction....Also,since the reciever was already set up with the safe/as3x,I won't need to go into forward programming for a y reason will I ,I'm thinking,only thing I may need to do,is assign Safe/As3x to a switch? Maybe not.... Thankyou sir,for your help.

Is the jet a Horizon Product? If so, you can get the cord and reprogram the Pitts receiver for the jet. If you don't do this, it's possible the as3x may try to correct in the wrong direction, as in the plane banks to the right and as3x will try to correct and bank it harder to the right. The receiver also needs to be mounted with the orientation. If it was plugs forward and inverted in the Pitts, then it won't work right if mounted plugs backward or right side up. The programmer lets you set how it's mounted, and/or tells you which way to install it. Also, it MUST be hard mounted with servo tape,hot glue, foam tac, etc. Do not velcro! If it moves inside your plane, it thinks the plane moved and tries to correct for that! None of this is hard to do, but it must be done right or it Will crash your plane! Good luck with it!!

Honestly UMX with retracts are kinda pointless. The wheels would be too small for the majority of surfaces - sadly not all of us are blessed with asphalt and that's pretty much the only surface I'd want retracts so you get the full experience and better aesthetic when flying. I have trouble with much larger planes taking off from mowed grass due to wheels digging in. I'd imagine it would add too much weight and the whole point of UMX is being accessible - not needing asphalt and being able to fly from any area that's safe to do so like a park. They're already much more expensive than they used to be a few years ago and adding retracts would just make it even more expensive. Just belly land it and hand launch. I never have the wheels installed on my UMXers.

If thats a question you have imho you shouldn’t be buying an EDF jet, you just aren’t ready for that. To answer that no there is no license, you need to register it though since habu is 250 grams and above. Habu sts makes a great first EDF.

@@forserious3496 You’ll also need a remote ID module in the plane for faa compliance, and it would be smart to have AMA membership to find safe flying locations and have help with liability etc. You aren’t going to want to hear many of these things sorry if it comes across as douchebag but they are the facts. Don’t try learning on an edf without some real stick and sim time, if they know you are still learning at an AMA field they wont let you fly without a buddy box.

I mean HH have been a sell out regarding big jets esp military jets. They used to be the go to 5 yrs ago. But they let the competition take over whilst they focused on umx and timbers. Shame really. But if this is a sign they'll be putting reseach into designing new bigger jets... yes please to a twin 70/80. But i just cant see it happening. Cheaper less risky to do another timber and easier to sell and make more money.
