Oh yes kauai is one of the best islands IMO, next to Maui. There are great and unique things about each of the islands, but Hanalei bay is gorgeous, which is where I shot this rainbow, and the napali coast and waimea canyon are spectacular, if you can get in during the sunshine! Also waterfalls galore. They shot part of the Jurassic park movie here

this is amazing footage :-) quick question: my drone just fell into the ocean in bali :-( the day after it fell, a double rainbow appeared over the ocean. i'm making a vlog about how the drone fell, and how i was sad that i couldn't catch the rainbow with my drone. i want to include a 5-second clip of double-rainbow drone footage to show how awesome that kind of footage can be. can i use 5 seconds of this footage for my video? i will of course link back to your channel! (i subscribed to your channel btw... incredible footage)

No you do not need a pilot's license to fly model aircraft

True. However if you run ads or make $$ from it you do. But I was wondering how would they know if we were making money from drones if we dont post it online

Actually it's not a pilot license, but a commercial drone license you need from the FAA in order to make money with a drone, technically. You do not need a pilots license at all. Also I currently do not make any money on ads from my videos ;) you have to sign up for that service on youtube.

Yup! you can upload without any kind of license as long as you are 'recreational.' but I bet if you monetized on youtube you would still be just fine.
