The cups look like they have more of a gel look to it vs memory foam, is the plastic around it as shiny in person as it looks on camera? With you having a shooting background, have you used Howard Leight muffs? If so, how would you compare the hearing protection of these vs those? These are nearly 50% off compared to the HL's so they seem like a phenomenal deal being electronic. Some passive only muffs cost that much.

It’s not so much the gel look as the covering. It’s the foam inside - otherwise it would be pourous. I am not familiar with the Howard lights. I had a different pair while I was in the military but I have them to a new troop when I was retiring so I don’t remember what brand they were. They were definitely more expensive but that was 3-4 years ago that I got those. I’m quite happy with these. They seem to work really well for $25. Would be better if they were Bluetooth though. It is 2020, after all.

They aren't really designed for that. It's for loud explosive noises. Do they reduce environmental noise? Yes. ee But it's not 100%.

Just ordered these. I’ll let you know if they are any good or a $26 piece of shit once I try them at the range. If they break after six months you have a two year warranty. Just pay the $125 shipping to send them back to China. 😂😂😂

Dude, you repeat your self about 10 time on what these are supposed to do. But you don't really talk about your actual testing and use of them. Did they work? how well? did you take them to the range? Did you operate lawn equipment? All you say is "they work". not enough intel.
