Perfect heavy beach breaks in France

As soon as we got off the plane we knew we'd lucked out. It was 4-6 foot across the entire stretch of the South West and even though there were plenty of surfers, there were loads of waves to go around.
Surfing here you've got to have a strategy. The waves move and change quickly, making a plan necessary if you want to capitalise on any given swell.

Hey Kale, when you come to france you often go to Biarritz/Landes, you should come here in Brittany, the coast is beautiful too, more rocky with reefs, slabs and beach break, less crowded (sometimes), but also colder. It's sorta like cornwall or ireland

Isn't it very stormy right now at the coast? I am in Spain right now and the waves are going crazy, i am looking at the waves right now and they have around 9-10m And the Wind is Just crazy...

@@seangerst6561 yeah it's not surfable AT all, the wind exceed 100km/h right now. Luckily the tide are low so no risk of submersion!

Waves on the west coast of France were epic in September and October this year. That's not the way it is all the time. Even in Brittany conditions were insane ❤. Best autumn for years! Kale, you were lucky 👍. Great video by the way 😊.

In Europe its always way better in the winter time. Swells are bigger, more powerful due to more Atlantic storms. Starts picking up mid September.
