@@zeenafernandes61 You know what I did this time around instead of throwing it? I put some water in the mixie/blender and blended the ginger, you can drink the juice as is by adding sugar or u can use the liquid in the tea...that way at least we dont throw away costly ginger in great quantities...

The only thing i did not like about this receipe is putting of the peels in the punch/wine....If you are putting it then remove it on the third day or so..putting it in there for 7 days makes it bitter...esp the lemon peels..
