This million-dollar heist fell apart because of a stupid mistake and a blabber mouth, turning a perfect score into a hilarious farce. It’s the stuff of movies. Let me tell you about it.

The Mob Reporter here with details of an astounding armed robbery, the story of how it fell apart, and a surprising suspect in the caper - a former star college basketball player.
It may well have been the perfect target - a company that stocks automated bank machines with money, just outside Toronto international airport in Canada’s largest city. It was stuffed with wads of cash, and somebody wasn’t careful about that delicate fact. Watch and learn what happens.

Believe it or don't but this is the norm not the exception. I'm in Gov't law enforcement & worked plenty of cases & jobs & details in the cash business field. There's a saying in law enforcement that crosses over to cash businesses: Complacency kills. Or maybe 'Complacency gets you robbed easily'. Human nature is to eventually do the laziest job it can. This means people eventually get used to things & then their guard goes down after enough time when nothing happens. Safes don't get locked, doors & cameras break but don't get fixed... All until something bad happens.

In reality, no safe is locked when there are people around that can (and will) open it at gun point. So it's quite irrelevant whether or not they're physically locked. Safes are only useful when no one's there or when no one knows they even exist.
