Together we take on the special Emboar with the Mightiest Mark that was available for a limited time. An all-out Reckless attacker with three recoil moves can be very difficult to deal with, so no matter who you bring to fight it with, make sure you have some Attack debuffs. Charm works, but Chilling Water can be used at all times, even while its shield is up!

This move set is the reason why Emboar isn’t higher on my list of favorite Fire Starters. I can’t get away with a Recoil moveset to save my life.

You can use Taunt after destroying its shield to prevent it from using Bulk Up.

Like Swampert, this also took me 3 attempts. The first two attempts was a major bust, but then I had to teach Mew Acid Spray & Charm so it'll reduce Emboar's Attack Power. Learned that well since Blaziken.
