I enjoy watching you sewing all these projects. I taught myself to sew by reading patterns. Just 1 question: do you ever finish you seams? How do you stop it from fraying?

Thank you, glad you've enjoyed them! As to finishing my seams... sometimes!! 😅 Most of the time I do, but I haven't on these projects cause I was running out of time to get them done!! But when I've some time after Christmas I plan on going back and finishing them.

do you know about doing burn tests. at the very least you would be able to determine if fabric is synthetic or natural.

I have heard about that, yes! I'm just not 100% sure on how to translate the results 😅 If it smells like burning plastic it's synthetic and if like burning hair, natural right? But then what if it's a combination!!?? 😂

@@bronwynemma then i guess i would do both. lol. i'm not super experienced with it, but if its a combination, i would imagine it would have characteristics of both. pretty sure it would not burn like natural, so at least its a start. enjoying your channel.

I think that might be it, lighter than brocade, but still has those woven patterns in it. I also have no idea how to spell that... 😅
