I have a gluten and dairy intolerance so I have to bake breads cakes and other pastries more often than other people do with special ingredients usually oat flour almond flour and coconut flour in a 3-2-1 ratio along with coconut cream for frosting.

I live in a household with two diabetics, so cakes are a no go. However I have been doing a lot of cooking/experimenting in the kitchen while watching your videos. You’re so creative and passionate when you bake, that it inspires me to try a new recipe or a difficult technique. Just last night, we had a fully vegetarian meal (not vegetarian, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the food). Black bean burgers, parsnip and sweet potato fries, homemade ketchup, and for dessert homemade watermelon sorbet. All done while watching your Mega Cake playlist (honestly my favorite). Thank you for continuing to make videos and keeping us all entertained during this time!

You can do most of this with bread too! You just use things like cream cheese instead of frosting! Not 100% sure what to replace fondant with but im sure there's something diabetic friendly out there. I have sensitive teeth that don't like sugar so I make cake breads when I want to bake and decorate.

Ahahahaha. Decorative soaps! My grandma still has the same little soaps in her guest bath. They've been there since the early 90s, at least (and I don't remember any dust on them until recent years. Go figure) As for staying occupied, well, I've been WFH for a few years now, so it's same old, same old. Except my knit group is now meeting via vid chat. 😄

My sister and my birthday is next week so since we can’t have our party we are planning to make an epic cake together it’s going be shaped like a macaroon, pastel pink, it will be marbled on the inside. With a piñata candy surprise! It’s strawberry and lemon flavored, with a chocolate drizzle, a big dollop of whipped cream on top, and sprinkles!! I’m going to turn 14 and my sister is turning 9 we are 5 years and 1 day apart. I have been baking since I was 5 or 6 with my grandma! I love you’re channel I have been watching you’re channel for 2 years.
