Hi I’m from Halifax and grew up on the Northwest Arm. I live in Denmark at the moment but am planning my return. Loved seeing Chad and Katie again! Another interesting fact surrounding the dingle is the park was donated by Sir Sanford Fleming, founder of Standard Time. The arm has great history. We had plenty of fun as kids catching mackerel in it when they were running. I learned to swim in the arm we use to take our boat to Wreck Cove. We would explore McNab’s Island - Bill Lynch’s ponies were still there. Anyway, you thanks for stirring up great memories. I hope to be moving home soon. I was there for February and got back to Denmark as things began shutting down.

Beautiful and peaceful. Loved the sneaky alcohol stash spot. 🍸 Definitely don't but a boat, just hang with friends who own a boat. Years ago we owned a boat and there are a lot of expenses. Now we are happy to just give some friends fuel money and not have to worry about the maintenance 😊❤️
