Perfect Selection: Dracula Battle II ( パーフェクトセレクション　ドラキュラ・バトルII?) is an album arranged by Naoto Shibata (from the Japanese band Anthem) and performed by Naoto Shibata PROJECT (柴田直人プロジェクト?), a group of musicians he put together.[citation needed] This album features metal renditions of several classic Castlevania themes. It is the second and final album of the Dracula Battle series. It was released in Japan on June 21, 1995.

While the first Dracula Battle is my favourite, this one has some great hits aswell like: 2. "Theme of Simon" (from Akumajō Dracula -X68000-) (03:45) 4. "Iron Blue Intention" (from Vampire Killer) (32:14) Used to listen to this back in late 90s! :) Was the best thing I ever heard back then. Still appreciate it today. Wonderful compositions! The solos on Iron Blue Intention rival Yngwie Malmsteen crazyness! Actually, i think the whole album kicks as much as the first, but you do easily notice this one is more raw agressive then the first. Note... I LOVE the fuck of both albums

Reincarnated Soul might be my favorite from this album, that intro/ending just nails everything i want from "Castlevania + metal". Theme of Simon is wonderful too, though that's tough source material to screw up!

Ｍ７はホント素晴らしい。 もともと原曲もギターサンプリング入れたスラッシュメタルっぽい曲だったけど、そこをあえて攻める柴田氏の挑戦状的な心意気が感じられるナンバー。 生に落とし込むとここまで格好良くなるんだなぁーと感動ひとしおです。
