Bloody Tears steals the show, but this whole album is absolute melodic mayhem.

メガドラのヴァンパイアキラーって山根さん作曲のドラキュラシリーズの幕開け作で、音源はメガドライブなんで劣りますが非常に名曲揃いですよね。ここから月下の夜想曲へと彼女のセンス全開で紡ぎ出されるわけで。クラシックの作曲素養がある名コンポーザーの曲に柴田さんが泣きのギターを詰め込んだアレンジはもう手の付けられない高みだと改めて思いました。エンディング曲は原曲もすごく素敵な鎮魂歌的ワルツなので是非とも皆さんに聴いてみて欲しいですね。

Yup - just came across this via a GiantBomb look at Castlevania: Simon's Destiny (TC for DOOM/gzDOOM).

I've finally found it! The version of Bloody Tears from this album, I temporarily used as the entrance theme for one of my CAWs in SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 before switching to Perfect Insanity by Disturbed in SvR 2010, but outside of the video here on KZbin that I got a download link from, I didn't know where the track originated from. Now I know and can come back to this to listen to it any time I want.

It's a shame that almost no one knows about this album I admit that i stumbled upon it after playing the Castlevania Doom mod after a lot of time but it's still sad

I remember finding these songs piecemeal back in the early 2000s online and wondering where they came from. This is really a great collection of arrangements. The best, in my opinion, has to be Calling from Heaven. The journey that the song takes you on and the emotion conveyed by the guitars, baseline and pipe organ really is exquisite. I suppose you could interoperate it in anyway you want, but it feels like someone cursing heaven for the loss of a loved one and transitioning into the vague, empty feeling after that person is gone.
