I found some beef shanks at my local wholesale club and thought I would give them a try. They came out great, fall apart tender juicy and smokey. So sit back relax and enjoy...

Great video and recipe. We made a grocery order for pickup and they tossed in two packages of beef shanks by mistake. They’ve been sitting in the freezer and I had no idea what to do with them. Now I do and they don’t have to go to waste! Thank you sir!

we are trying this for the first time ourselves right now . we used cherry wood in the smoker for the first time as well . we combined a few recipes , using coffee , red wine and other goodies for the sauce . one tip i read was to grille / carmelize the onion and heat the sauce first for less work on the smoker side . looking forward to trying this . we are runiing ours a lil longer though also we cooked em in the pan which may have been a mistake but , i am sure its going to be good and also make some decent leftovers . some stuff lasts better than others i am hoping this will make a few meals with out loosing too much appeal. thanks for the video !!
