Do you get dressed up and go out at Halloween? This year me and my wife are going to see the lost boys and scream at an outdoor screening. It's at wolloton hall near us. The place was used as Wayne manor in those Christian Bale Batman movies. That's on the 25th and 28th. On the 31st we're going to a rerelease of a nightmare on elm Street, for it's 40th anniversary. I'll be picking up a freddy costume in the next week or two.😂

Wow, that's a great time and at a filming location is awesome. I don't think we have dressed up for over a decade since our daughter gave it up. 20 years ago I worked at a party store when we moved to the town we are in now. Halloween was the busiest season there and we had hundreds of costumes and tons of decorations come in every year... I was the receiver and would check everything in so I would see new stuff first. It was still fun back then. Now, Halloween seems mostly dead in our area (not in the fun way) so we just celebrate at home watching and playing spooky stuff. We may get 2-3 trick or treaters a year now... sad.

My Nan is from the black forest in Germany. I'm guessing we're talking about a different forest though?😂

I don't know what forest or story they base this off of. I'll look it up after i finish. But how cool is it to say you are from the Black Forest? Cooler than my home town's name.😂
