It is 2024! This old paradigm that everyone should “stay in your Lane” gets you nowhere! Forget about the music. People have no idea how much MGK even does. He has several businesses. He owns a coffee restaurant with lines out the door, owns a nail company, is producing music, models and designs clothing. He is a master at networking. He never left rap he made an album that people enjoyed. All people obsess about is Eminem and genre. No wonder most people never succeed. I suspect there is a lot of behind the scenes about the “beef” we don’t even know. The fact the after 6, getting close to 7 years of discussing the beef says a lot. The internet keeps bringing up the beefs not Eminem, MGK. Even Cory Taylor has buried their beef and even admitted some blame. How great were any of you in your twenties?

It's okay for him to get back to hip-hop and stick with it if he wants to. he's not a bad rapper. going at Em was a mistake though. I don't even think Aubrey is going to change much when he drops his next album. I predict he will still do good on charts but will not sell as much but still very well. I could be wrong. The respect he still had left from real hip hop heads is gone. They aren't the majority though. Casual hip-hop listeners and the hardcore stans will still ride with him.

Wow I miss those day's. Every single day use to be like thus video for me in the 90s- early 2000s. Now I'm a 44yo man who has been run over by a car and has so much metal in my body that I can even move the same way. At least I can still ride my BMX but my skating died that day I was run over. At least I was one of the ones EMS could save cause I was a mess. 27 broken bones, blew out a lung, destroyed my spleen, 5 blood transfusions. 17 day coma. Lucky to be alive!

Mgk has never changed. Dont know why ppl think he switched up. Colson has always been a skater/rocker dude that also raps and raps well. He was the first one to do mosh pits in rap. He is an artist not a rapper. He does it all country, rnb, rap, pop, pop punk, rock. He’s a pretty decent actor aswell and a smart businessman. Ppl need to stop comparing him to others. He is his own man. In his own lane. Nobody else is even in the same lane as him. He’s been the same since 09’. So glad he was finally able to get away from Diddy and BadBoy records. It's good to see MGK elevating his rap skills again. This non-toxic, more mature MGK is so much better than the young, arrogant MGK that stepped in a dog pile every few steps. He's always been extremely talented, but I think that he needed to gain perspective and self-awareness if he was ever going to be truly great.
