Taking the new build out for her first long run of what was suppose to be a 30~ mile round trip.
We had to turn back do to a mechanical issue, but the ride was still beautiful.
I love fall days!

Does it make a big difference not having a front suspension?
@LAHover

as compared to the cheap suspension forks on other walmart bikes? no, In fact I prefer the stiff forks. Now if you can get a nice quality suspension fork than it's a different story.

I have a question. Why do you go with the smaller width flat bars as opposed to like curved bars on most of your bikes? I personally like the way the curved ones feel and look and was just wondering your take on it.

Hey hover have you considered maybe doing a comparison between expansion chambers (or mz clones) with and without the silencers? I have the badass sharks mufflers that you've recommended (thank you they work great!) but just for curiosity sake, from what I understand expansion chambers have a lot to do with sounds and reverberations I was wondering if it makes a difference, or maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree 🤷‍♂️

On one of my bikes I have a yd 100 that has been broken in for a long time. I recently decided to do a simple porting job on it. When I had the jug off I was afraid some dirt got in it. I split the case to clean it. I had an old gasket set I was going to use. When I tried to fit it on it was smaller (slightly). It looks like the engine is bigger than a 2 year old 80/66 cc gasket set (or it was a bad set). I can't find a gasket set any place identifying it for the yd 100! Do you or any of viewers have any ideas.

Thank you for getting back to me about gasket between the two crank case half's. I already have a sheet of the gasket paper. I wasn't sure it would work as it is a lot thicker than the gaskets that was there. The crank assembly has shims on both sides and I'm wondering how a thicker gasket affects the difference. Again THANK YOU

You look like you go at 50 or more on the bike. What sprocket do you use? I use a 32 tooth and I top out all the way using a wildcat pk80 with a cnc cylinder head, ported cylinder and the same carburetor setup as yours. Although, I only get 44 mph. Is there anything else I may need to do to increase top speed?

When I baught mine it didn't have a cycling chain and the part for attaching the chain was missing, it still obviously had the engine chain, so I just run and jump on and she starts, problem with that is if I ever have a breakdown, I cant cycle home

No way... I just recently bought the same chain with included lube that you listed in the description. Due to covid I'm assuming, is why I did not get mine yet and it is shipping still. How is it? Is it smooth? My current chain is the stock one that came with my motoos kit and I have to lube it every time I ride or it will grind and make squeaking noises and it will create a lot of friction. Awesome video.

Hey if anybody sees this can you please respond ? I have a 80cc Amazon kit that runs really rich around half throttle. (I’m in the break in period using 16:1) idles smooth, 3/4 throttle runs great but four strokes really bad when I let off the throttle and at half throttle. Pls help
@FlyRc23
@FlyRc23 3 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest just finish the break in and start adjusting when you go to 20:1 25:1 or whatever you decide. Then if it is still rich you can lower the needle( raise the clip ) a notch.

LA, l can no longer pedal a bike, (bad knees) . Would you us a pk 80, or yt100 on a build to be able to ride away without pedaling?
@willbaker9087
@willbaker9087 3 жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely! You can use a stock motor and not have to pedal unless you’re real heavy. I’d do yd100 for torque unless you’re into modifying a 66
@Brewpocalypz
@Brewpocalypz 3 жыл бұрын
I would actually think about a Harbor Freight 79cc 4 stroke Predator engine on your build if you cant peddle any longer.
@LAHover
@LAHover 3 жыл бұрын
I would go with a 4 stroke build. A pull start and the style of clutch they use means you never need to pedal. Now if you have big hills you may need a larger rear sprocket, or bigger motor.

Hey I bought a 50cc motorbike kit on accident a week ago thinking the basic ones were all the same and all 66c, but I guess not. I used to have a 66c and my friend has one too but when I built up my 50cc it felt painfully painfully slow nomatter what I did with the carb and stuff like that (I even swapped the carb), I've got spark and I think good compression but I was wondering if my kit was just meant to be that slow or do I have some kind of problem.

You might try putting a short tail pipe in the end of the muffler(a piece of a old handle bar might fit) might quiet it down some.
