This is just what I needed today. I've been to Texas years ago and I just fell in love with it is such a beautiful state. I'm doing really well recovering from surgery as I previously had told you I'm still on restrictions on lifting and bending but I'm doing better and I feel a whole lot better

Well, Gruene looks like a paradise to me. I grew up in a very rural area and these small towns are just the best! I love your dress with your boots, but honey I would be melting in those shoes in this heat. For me, I'm glad the 4th is over. I'm afraid I just don't enjoy it anymore...the heat, the fireworks which my fur friend Elizabeth (who is 11) is so afraid of, but she made it. Did not realize those peonies were real, I do love the smell of peonies, but I haven't been able to get a hold of any fresh ones in quite some time.

I enjoyed your relaxing video so much! I loved seeing the general store and the antique store. The lavender festival was interesting too. I also enjoyed seeing the rodeo....one of the most American things ever! There's a big rodeo over in Kissimmee, FL near Disney. It's called the Silver Spurs and has been going on for years...a big part of central Florida history. I love anything with horses...my dad was a rider and I grew up with and near horses...riding some of my childhood too. I love the pink peonies and seeing the kitty relaxing and snoozing in the heat. This was so much fun and so enjoyable...yee ha or is it yee haw?🐎

I used to live in new Braunfels. I had to go through Gruene to get to my apartment. I was probably 2 1/2 miles away from Greene where I lived. Right on the Guadalupe. So beautiful out there I love that you’re doing a video on green.

They have the most beautiful flowers there! I always feel so spoiled going to that little farm. 🥰 I actually have family that ropes in the rodeo so I spent a lot of time at them growing up. Special memories for sure! My dad used to ride bulls and train horses when I was a baby (but I don’t have memories of it because I was too young) he’s a true cowboy. Thanks for sharing. I’m from Austin but have lived in Cedar Creek for 25 years. I’ve gone to Gruene and Blanco lots of times. I too love the onion rings from the Gristmill. We do trips with sisters, aunts and cousins every year to all the beautiful small towns outside Austin. Such fun and amazing memories! Take care.❤

I love peonies and the colors you chose. I have those bushes. The dark pink one smells like roses to me and the lighter pink one is a softer scent then I also have one that’s white and edged in pink and it to me almost has like a mint smell to it. Then I have one that’s a magenta color, I guess, with a yellow center, but I don’t really notice a smell to it. The one I’m trying to find now is they have them in yellow and I’d love to have one of those. You are correct I’m in Nevada and it has just been so hot! My sister and I along with my two grandsons are going up to beautiful Lake Tahoe tomorrow so that’ll be a little cooler for us. My youngest sister lives in Texas. She’s outside of Fort Worth. I guess if I can say one thing at least we’re a dry heat. We don’t have the humidity that you have.
