@@ianhawthorne7240 Have you any video comentary or guidance on where to see similar material on doing larger veneer efforts on an already constructued pice such as a speaker? That's the main personal interest I have where I can see myself needing to manage larger pieces of veneer in a matched situation. I think I am one who tends to use a metal inlay or similar to breakup joins if I'm not confident that I can make it look perfect. I'm very envious of your nice workshop and the familiar environment of work with Mrs Speilberg.... I live in a Townhouse (apartment) in Australia and my workshop is my car garage so there is no sense of permanency or pleasure when working due to the constant presence of neighbours who think I should knit for a hobby.

@@michaelrobinson9643 for a larger scale I would look at the book by Robert Ingham Cutting-edge Cabinetmaking - he uses a different method but can be easily scaled up. We started in a single car garage and expanded with an extra workshop all from home, our neighbours are quite understanding as long as I keep the noise to daytime :)

Hi Ian and Kate - another wonderful video with so many useful tips. Thoroughly enjoyed the Keepsake Box videos - the attention to detail that ensures perfection is inspiring! A question if I may.... I have long admired the Incra set up and can't decide between the Combo set up on the table saw or two separate set ups for the table saw and router table. If space wasn't a concern, what would your advice be? Regarding ideas for future videos - your approach to spring loaded drawers and tray inserts would be great to see. Keep up the great work folks and its so good to see the teamwork in a family business.

The best video of its kind. You two are great. About 50 new techniques in this video alone. If you would I would love to see a video on how you “drape” your marquetry from top to sides. I believe you miter fold, I’m only guessing, that’s a technique I struggle with. Also what grit paper is on your flattening board? Thank you

Thanks for the info. It does help answer some of the questions on how to fix some of the voids found in burl. I haven't tried glueing the pieces together before pressing them - I have always used veneer tape on the joints. I will try that next time. The white glue that you used - does that dry clear?
