I was surpriced when I've found that my reciever is fully discharged but case still has 3 of 4 chargind dots. For some reason, the reciever didn't go sleep when I put it to the case and didn't start charging.

This may be beause of 2x things. #1) The receiver was not pushed down far enough into the case. (this is most likely) #2) The receiver might have had a protective sticker covering the connection points on the bottom of the reciever that needs to be removed. Please check the connectors on the receiver to see that this was removed.
